This is seriously great fishing on the Great Barrier Reef. The 8 metre custom-built vessel “Reef Runner 1” offers a fast and comfortable ride to inshore blue water reefs and wrecks.
The latest high quality Shimano & Penn fishing reels are used for an array of light tackle sports fishing including trolling, live-baiting, bottom fishing and high speed jigging. A huge range of species are targeted including mackerel, trevally, nannygai, coral trout, mangrove jack, red emperor as well as tuna.
Reef Runner 1’ also features a full-shade canopy, padded seating, huge esky, toilet, stereo, killtanks, live-bait tanks and the latest electronic equipment. The informative guide will give you the benefit of his many years of local experience for a unique fishing adventure and a day you will never forget.
The tour is limited to a maximum of 6 passengers and 2 crew which ensures you receive the maximum enjoyment, comfort as well as a very personalised service. Reef fishing tours are not recommended for children under 1 years.
TOUR INCLUDES: Morning tea, lunch, reef tax (a government imposed tax) and all bait and tackle. BYO: Sunglasses, Hat & Alcohol.

This 18 metre (60ft) custom-built vessel is capable of speeds up to 28 knots. Purpose designed and fitted with the latest state-of-the-art fish-finding, navigational and entertainment equipment - you are ensured of the best possible opportunity to catch quality fish on your Great Barrier Reef Holiday.
The vessel features an air-conditioned saloon and bridge, entertainment area, fully licensed bar, shower & toilet facilities, expansive rear deck with a Sportfishing Platform as well as relaxing Sun Lounges on the upper deck.
Why not try your hand at catching some of the best fighting and eating fish the Coral Sea has to offer. Among the species targeted are Coral Trout, Sea Perch, Mackerel and Red Emperor using either rods or handlines, and whenever possible, float lines are utilized to catch the elusive Giant Trevally, Tuna, Spanish Mackerel, Tuna and Wahoo.
