THE REEF: Australia's Great Barrier Reef is over 2,300kms long stretching from Papua New Guinea to Fraser Island in the south-east of Queensland. This natural aquarium is home to over 1,500 species of fish and about one third of the world's soft corals.
GREEN ISLAND: Green Island is a picturesque coral cay situated 26kms north-east of Cairns. At certain times of year pods of whales are can be seen in the vicinity of Green Island.
