Journey into dreamtime legend and discover the magic of Australia’s ancient indigenous culture. Tjapukai by Night is an evening of entertainment and indulgence with a sumptuous buffet dinner. Immerse yourself in the traditions of the Aboriginal people through traditional dances, music and the telling of dreamtime legends providing a powerful and personal insight into the ancient Australian culture. This memorable experience ‘not to be missed’ is suitable for all ages, couple, families & groups.
The Tjapukai performers will greet you upon arrival and traditionally paint your face, if you wish. Enjoy your choice of welcome drink (standard beer, wine or soft drink) whilst browsing through the Retail Gallery. The journey begins…
THE TJAPUKAI BY NIGHT EXPERIENCE: After your welcome drink, the Tjapukai performers will lead you into a magical atmosphere where you will experience a solemn didgeridoo blessing ceremony and a Quikan spirit performance. During the Lakeside Ceremony, be amazed by the Tjapukai performers as they make fire using traditional fire sticks. Then be blown away by our spectacular fire ball explosion. Dinner is then served in the Boomerang Restaurant with an array of hot and cold dishes to choose from. Try the delicious desserts which are freshly made by the in-house Pastry Chef. Following dinner, enjoy the Live Cultural Performance. See the world famous Tjapukai dancers perform live on stage. The Tjapukai performers will invite guests to join the cultural celebrations on stage and teach them traditional dance. After the show catch up with performers round the camp fire and have the opportunity to ask them any questions (optional).
