No experience is necessary for this horse riding adventure in the classic Australian Outback. With a stable of over 70 quiet and gentle horses, Blazing Saddles offers a safe and relaxing way to see the rainforest.
With horses to suit all levels and ages this is a perfect family adventure. The highest standard of equipment is used and the horses have a friendly mature nature. Horses are matched to each riders experience and ability.
TOUR DESCRIPTION: Depart Cairns in air-conditioned coach and travel to Kuranda where refreshments will be served in an authentic rustic dairy shed. Following a safety brief, helmets are then fitted and horses are assigned according to each riders experience and ability. After a training session it is time to head out into the Australian Outback for a leisurely ride through rainforest and native bushland. You will see many native animals and birds and may even get the chance to muster some cattle. After exploring this 1,200 acre cattle property located at the top of the Kuranda Mountain Range, you head back to base, passing through giant ant hills, grass trees and a plethora of Native Australian Flora and Fauna.
TOUR INCLUDES: • Approximately 2 hours of horse riding • All transfers to and from Cairns & Cairns Beaches accommodation • Professionally guided trail ride • All tuition – no experience necessary • Horse Safety Lesson and Introduction • Morning / Afternoon Tea • BBQ Lunch (am) / Finger Food (pm) • Full Day Tour combines both itineraries.
